What to Expect
-
The studio accommodates up to 12 people. The doors open 10 minutes before session start time, as you arrive, take off your shoes and leave your belongings in the studio in the assigned bench space.

-
There is a washroom in the studio site; please take care of all needs prior to starting class time, once we’re in session, it is encouraged to stay in the meditation session.

-
There are no change rooms. Loose comfortable clothing good for stretching and sitting on a meditation cushion is a good idea.

-
Once you’ve placed your belongings you choose a meditation spot on the floor. We will be sitting on both a large square cushion as well as a round meditation cushion on top of the larger sitting cushion. If tight hips require a taller poof, there are those available, too.

-
The sitting meditation is about 55 minutes long with stretching and moving time to prevent meditators numb foot syndrome :)

-
Once our meditation time is complete, you are welcome to remain in silence or enjoy a warm cup of tea as you gather your belongings and leave the studio.
