What we do at 

Soulscape Meditation offers group meditation sessions synthesized from two decades of clinical counseling experience. Our approach is grounded in extensive research and is informed by methodologies that emphasize heart-brain coherence. By integrating these principles, we aim to create a transformative environment where participants can cultivate deeper mindfulness and emotional balance. Our sessions are designed to enhance well-being, promote relaxation, and foster a sense of community, making each gathering a unique opportunity for personal growth and connection.

We spend an hour accessing heart brain coherence, through inner focusing, which is the shift away from tunnel vision of the 5 stress responses - Fight, Flight, Freeze, Focus, and Faun - the beta brain wave state and we journey towards the zoomed out, Eagle Eye View, the Heart’s Eye View, of the 5 heart responses - Compassion, Calm, Comfort, Consideration, and Connection  - the Theta brain wave state.

The Method Behind the Magic

Through spoken word guidance, we instruct gentle stretching and movement, breath work, sound healing, music, visualization, and imagination, to help you arrive inside yourself. 

 

We practice observing: the body’s sensations, the mind’s thoughts, the heart’s feelings, the soul’s spirit, the behavior’s actions, through the heart’s eye view, and in this way we travel deeply along new pathways within ourselves - from stress states to heart states. We move away from pathways of the past, of anywhere but here, and we start to land in the right here, the right now of the calm, peace, and warmth of heart energy.

 

At the end of the session, we integrate new neural pathways of calm to the analytical mind to help build the dual awareness of calm in stress.

Benefits

Like physical strengthening or sleep hygiene, this is mental, emotional, spiritual strength training. We focus on developing habits and patterns to strengthen heart connection, to help endure stress and crisis with the support of the heart.
